What is a Superpower?

A superpower is a country with a dominant position in the international system, which has the ability to influence events in its own interests and project power on a worldwide scale to protect those interests. Superpower means balanced growth in three sectors of the economy- agriculture, service and industry.

India is expected to become a superpower by 2025


when its per capita income nears $5,000 from $1,000.

A strong political system which is democratically elected Economic stability with productive reforms Trained manpower with a manageable amount of population High level of technical expertise and defence capabilities

INDIAS FUTURE
India is developing in all the fields like technology, space research,medical,sports,education etc. Well developed infrastructure English-speaking and computer-literate graduate manpower India rates higher than many other countries as a hub for ITenabled services. Call centers and business process outsourcing is emerging as the next wave of growth in India. The McKinsey study indicated that India will earn $18 billion in revenues through these services and create additional employment of one million jobs. Prediction of achieving 100% literacy by 2030 4

Agriculture grew at 6.6% in 2011. This years Agriculture sector is expected to grow at 3.0% in 2011-12! Industry grew at 7.9% in 2011. Projected to grow at 7.1% in 2012 Services grew at 9.4% in 2011. Projected to grow at 10.0% in 2012 Investment rate projected at 36.4% in 2011 and 36.7% in 2012 FDI inflows projected at $35 billion in 2012 against the level of $23.4 billion in 2011

INDUSTRY OVERLOOK
India industrial production growth rate in 2011 was 7.9% Textile industry is the largest and is expected to create 12 million new jobs. Automobile sector forecast a growth of 11-13% create new employment opportunities. Pharmaceutical & IT industries are experiencing significant growth.

Undertake programme to enhance our scientific and technological capacities on a continuous basis Do not reduce defence,nuclear and mission capacities Establish a cooperative and working relationship with all our neighbours.

New instruction to tone up the governmental machineries, new emphasis on education & health sector and new initiative to co-ordinate and stream line the functioning of federal and local establishments. Make our big dreams into reality by working hard to the best relaying on our citizens. Strive for new with increased public participation.
