2G BTS
Protocol between 2G BTS and BSC for carrying traffic. In legacy BTS runs over E1s, in newer BTS runs on Eth.

Challenge 1
Upgrading (swap) the network with minimal disruption to service
Challenge 2
Upgrades of base stations and backhaul are not coordinated in time
Challenge 3
Avoid costly equipment forklifts

Enhanced QoS
Improved available link capacity utilization Advanced Service Level Agreement (SLA) support Service differentiation Monitoring, Assurance and Diagnostics capabilities
control frames
255 MEF-10 compliant TrTCM policers per VLAN/VLAN+CoS CIR + EIR support Detailed statistics
Hierarchical scheduling 4 priorities WFQ within the same priority Shaping per queue and per port
Enables differentiated services with strict SLA and maximizing network resources utilization
27 Proprietary and Confidential
Advanced SLA
Granular SLA enforcement and traffic policing: TrTCM (CIR + EIR) dual-rate limit per service (VLAN / VLAN + CoS) New in i6.9, R3 hardware only! 8 CoS queues (vs. 4 in standard QoS)
Per queue counters - Transmitted and dropped traffic Per service counters (VLAN / VLAN + CoS) New in i6.9, R3 hardware only!

Link Utilization
Stores and displays statistics in accordance with RMON and RMON2 standards Radio Ethernet Capacity
Peak Capacity Average Capacity
New statistics represent actual Ethernet throughput, relative to the potential Ethernet throughput of the Radio

License Reuse/Reclaim

License Reuse/Reclaim
The needed steps for License Reclaim:
1. LMS User generates a new license LMS keeps the request, generated a new reduced license key 2. The IP-10 Web EMS User loads the new reduced license code to the IP-10 The IP-10 return with a validation key, and changes the licenses on the IP-10
3. LMS User feeds validation number into the LMS The user account will get credit for this downgrade and it can be reused on any other
IP-10
LMS
It can work for RMA too, but only if the IP-10 SW is still working
