Learning Objectives for the work shop
| to sentise participant for pedagocial approaches
and how to implement
| to give some insights into, at least one, learning
approach
| to initiate and foster reflection and discussion about
pedagogical settings
Pre-Assumptions
| We were asked to make a „work shop“
| The prior knowledge of the participants concerning
our topic is very diverse
| We do not only want to talk about pedagogical
approaches, because we have the feeling that this
would not be enough.

Group work /
collaborative learning
Reasons for our Didactical Concept
| A variation of the problem based learning approach
| PBL needs authentic problem and reflection
| No „authentic“ problem, but a story (because it can serve as good
„guideline“ for the work shop, it is easier to find a common ground, it can
serve as an cognitive „anchor“)
| The reflection will be done by „oberservers“ (monitoring the group work
and the work shop itself) and by personal storytelling afterwards (in the
weblog)
| Challenge „group work“
| to initiate cooperative learning is tricky – we deal with that with three
different group work regulations which are known from cooperative
learning (intervention)
