En el PC donde se encuentra localizada la imagen del VRP, dirjase al directorio donde este se encuentra y cambiele el nombre a main.bin.

NOTA: Dependiendo el equipo, puede ser necesario nombrar el archivo como system. Para ver cual es su caso, verifique realizando un dir y aqu podr observar el nombre correcto.

Seleccione la ruta completa desde la barra de direccin y presione CTRL-C para copiarla:

Abra una ventana de CLI de Windows, introduciendo cmd en la opcin ejecutar el Men de Inicio.

En la ventana de CLI de Windows escriba cd y luego precione CTRL-C para pegar la ruta donde se encuentra la imagen del VRP.

Luego ejecute ftp hacia la direccin del router que deseamos actualizar, ingrese el nombre de usuario y password antes definido.

A continuacin copie el archivo utilizando el comando put, tal como se indica a continuacin:

A continuacin revise la ventana de la consola y ver un mensaje como el siguiente:

[Quidway] %Jan 1 00:02:35 2000 Quidway FTPS/5/USERIN:User ftp(192.168.0.2) login succeede d Ftp server is currently writing to flash , please wait... \

Esta mensaje puede mantenerse por varios minutos, NO REINICIE EL EQUIPO MIENTRAS SE ENCUENTRA EN ESTE ESTADO. El router est copiando la imagen del sistema operativo desde la memoria RAM hacia la Flash. Una vez que aparezca el mensaje que se muestra a continuacin podemos reinicar el equipo:

Ftp server writing to flash is done. [Quidway]quit <Quidway>reboot This command will reboot the system. Since the current configuration may have c hanged, all changes may be lost if you continue. Continue? [Y/N] y

Una vez reiniciado el equipo, verificamos el xito de la actualizacin:
