Capital Punishment :

It is the execution of the person by judicial process for retibution , general deterrence and incapacitation.

Capital punishment has been practiced in virtually every society , and thus can be considered to be a cultural universal or close to it

Execution of criminals and politics opponents has been used by nearly all societies . In most places that practices capital punishment it is reserved for murder , espionage , treason Countries has different crimes

The use of formal execution extends to the beginning of recorded history .

Most historical records and various primitive tribal practices indicates that the death penalty was a part of their justice system

Islam View: If anyone kills personunless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the landit would be as if he killed all people. And if anyone saves a life, "it would be as if he saved the life of all people

The Bible teaches that capital punishment is authorized and required by God
If so , then why do so many people claim to oppose this practice on religious grounds
