because these buys dont add up to much in the long run. If time is not the problem with you, go to the better dept. store and boutiques first, then shop in discount stores if you can find the less equivalent merchandise for less.
To avoid that aimless, drifting feeling when you shop in a store

you are not familiar with, try to study the layout of the store and shop for the basic items first.

should be aimed at achieving this look. you should take stock of your good and bad points and select only those outfits whose lines do the most for you. An imperfect figure can be given Illusion of slimness by choice of the proper clothes.
A line can be created by a row of buttons, lace, a seam, fancy stitches, etc. a ; line must not emphasize a figure fault but draw the eye away from it.

The vertical line- the line which runs lengthwise

from head to toe is called a vertical line. It creates an illusion of height and makes a person look taller. It is ideal for the plump person.
The horizontal line a line cutting across from the

side to side is a horizontal line. It cuts height and adds width contrasting colors in two outfits creates horizontal lines and minimizes height. The longer the unbroken area from the hem to the figure, the taller you look.

Those fashion rules that camouflage the poor lines of

your figure and accentuate the good.

The broken line looks shorter than the unbroken one.

1. An unbroken line appears Longer. Contrasting colors, two piece dresses, skirts and blouses, belts, horizontal stripes, large bands of color, or any horizontal lines make you appear shorter and add breadth to your figure. 2.Height gives the illusion of slenderness. Dress for height, breaking the vertical line only if your figure and height are correctly proportioned.

3. Light colors add weight. Whites pastels will the visual illusion of adding pounds to your body. Make it a point to place them only where this addition is needed. 4.Dark colors diminish weight.

From the color palette place those colors in the dark to darkest range on areas of your body that require visual reduction of weight.

5.Light-reflective and shiny fabrics add weigh. Satin, sequins, brocades, or metallic materials visually add pounds to your body. Place them only where this addition is needed or as very small fashion touches. 6.Bulky or heavy fabrics add weight. Angoras, tweeds, heavy knits, corduroy, or nubby fabrics add bulk and pounds to your figure.

Small plaids , checks, florals, and geometrics each add the illusion of less weight. Small dark patterns visually diminish the weight of your body even further.

9. Transparent or clinging fabrics reveal figure faults and perfections. Knitted fabrics, jerseys, laces, and chiffons should be placed on parts of your body that you want to emphasize rather than on problem areas. 10.Scaled-to-sized accessories are the secret to balance .

Small accessories must be assigned to the small and short figure. Large accessories should be assigned to the larger and or tall figure.

11. Every detail and every accessory must be coordinated with every other detail and accessory of the total ensemble. This rules applies from head to toe, and from the front, sides, and back of your figure. 12.Dramatize your good points. Select clothing to show off your assets.

13. Do not dramatize a weak point by dramatizing a good one. Should a good point, when dramatized, accentuate or call attention to a weak point in return, the good has been undone by the bad!

Your best colors are found in your bodys natural color scheme- your

skin, hair , eyes, and lips. The rest of your best colors complement, or go with all of your body colors. 1. beige- your best beige is the color of your skin. Match it exactly. 2. Brown- your best brown is your hair color.

5. Red- your best shade of red is your bodys natural blood color. It is the color you turn when you blush or flush. You can see it in the palms of your hands, and the inside of your lower lip.

Go vertical - You always want to wear vertical stripes if you have

the choice. They make you appear to be taller than you really are which works great for shorter guys. The only ones who need to be careful are those tall guys. They can end up looking a little too big. The problem with horizontal stripes is they make people look wider which doesn't work for those who are already overweight. They end up only looking fatter. If you think that maybe you are carrying around a few extra pounds and it shows, then I wouldn't recommend horizontal stripes. stripes you plan on wearing. Most fashion experts will always side with keeping the stripes on the thinnish side. Wide stripes are not fashionable and look out of date even if they are vertical or horizontal. Always wear stripes that are less than an inch in width.

Keep it thin - Now you need to decide on the weight of the

Steer clear of complementary colors - For guys, there really isn't a particular

color that should be avoided but there are combinations that never should be worn. What colors work for you is all dependent on your own personal style. Contrasting color combinations which are opposite from each other on the color wheel are some of the worst choices you an make. Would you want to wear a yellow and purple sweater? I don't think so.

Watch your socks - The last thing you want to do is wear socks with wide

horizontal stripes. That is of course it is Halloween and it's part of your costume. If you do wear striped socks, at least go with a thin gauge stripe with subtle color contrasts. I find that brown and khaki work the best.

Mix stripes carefully - You'll find a few dinosaur fashion editors who still

think that wearing two pieces of striped clothing is as bad as global warming. Get with the times and lose those antiquated notions. For example, what's wrong with wearing a striped shirt underneath a pinstripe suit? The answer is nothing at all. Remember to keep the two stripes a different weight.

Oval, round , square, oblong, diamond, and heart. How can you tell your face shape ? To do this, wash your hair, then comb it back off your face. Now stand in front of a mirror with a piece of soap . Analyze the pattern youve made. If it is widest at the forehead and cheeks and narrow at the chin, you have a heart-shaped face. If it is broadest at the forehead and jaw line, then your face is fullest at the center. A face thats narrow at the top and wide at the bottom is triangle-shaped. If your face looks circular and you have full cheeks, its shape is round. Next analyze your features. Do you have a high or low forehead? Is your nose prominent? Is your neck long or short? What about your chin? Do your ears stick out or lie flat?

A bad hair cut can exaggerate flaws, a good one will enhance your features and make your faced look more well proportioned. The first step in determining which one is best for you is figuring out the shape of your face. But dont just look in the mirror. Put it to good use. Stick wet hair back from your face and with one eye shut, trace the perimeter of your face in the mirror with a lipstick. A square face is roughly equal in length and width. An oblong face is about one and a halftimes longer than it is wide, a heart shape face is wider at the brow and narrower at the chin, and a round face is obviously round. If you see an oval you are lucky- stylists generally agree that you can wear any hairstyle than the rest of us.

Round- if you have a round face try a forward shag with a volume and lift on the top and soft choppy pieces to add definition to your face. Center parts are great for offsetting roundness as are angular bangs that get longer at the sides. Long slightly layered cuts also work well on round faces because they create the illusion of a longer face and give you the option of wearing your hair up. Just make sure there is height at the crown.

Heart-shaped- the big no-no when you have this shape? Any cut too short on the sides because it will widen your face even more. You need a style that is flat on the top and full around the sides and jaw to balance your wide forehead and narrow chin. Your best bet is a soft choppy bob with ends that flick inward and out creating swing and volume around the jaw. If you like bangs try a soft fringe that grazes your cheekbone or follows the contour of your brows to downplay your forehead A good length; just above the shoulders.

Oblong- ideally it should be on or above the shoulders so it does not draw the eye downward. If you want to go longer try wearing a side part; the angle will appear the shorten a long face. Another good call? Square heavy bangs by hiding the forehead they achieve the same effect. Fringe around eye level and even down to the jaw line creates volume that complements a long face. Choppy layers that bring out cheeks can help an oblong shape appear more oval. Square- the most complementary cut is the one with soft waves or a bit of fringe to minimize a strong jaw. Even if the cut is short it should have softness to take away from the angles of your face. A sides swept or angled bangs are very flattering because they balance defined lines as do side parts and long layers that start at the chin. It would be wise to avoid sharp geometric cuts such as chin- length bobs which will emphasize your jaw line. Sore the perfect hairstyle by bringing the key elements texture face shape even your lifestyle into play.

In choosing a hair style consider your facial features. 1.High forehead-bangs are ideal. Make them curly or brush them to one side. You can have gentle waves at the sides near the temple, just avoid volume at the crown. 2. Low forehead- a layered cut with fullness at the temples is a great style for you. Soft bangs will make your forehead look longer. Wear your hair back away from the face to make your forehead seem higher, you can wear your hair any length, but avoid parting it in the middle.

3. Large ears-the best way to deal with protruding ears is to cover them up. You can wear your hair short provided the tips of your ears are concealed. 4.Short neck- a layered style will make your neck longer, dont wear your hair long straight or your neck will seem to disappear beneath your hair. 5.Long neck- width and fullness at the sides will make your neck look shorter. Avoid extremely short styles that reveal a long stretch of neck.

6. Receding chin- choose a style that falls slightly below the jaw line, short full bangs add height at the crown and will draw attention from your chin. Fullness at the chin line will also help. 7. Prominent jaw- volume at the top of the head will help minimize a jaw that juts out too much. So will a below-chin-length cut, angled so it is long in the back and shorter on the sides. Avoid full bangs.

There are four general skin types: oily, dry, normal and combination. In

addition, it is possible to have sensitive skin along with one of the four general types. oil, and has few breakouts if any at all, it is considered dry. In more extreme cases, dry skin lacks elasticity and can be extremely sensitive to the sun, wind, and cold temperatures. Wash your face once a day with a rich, creamy cleanser and warm water.

Dry Skin: If your skin has a strong tendency toward dehydration, lacks

Treatment: Rinse with warm water and pat your skin dry. Use toner to

help with that tight and flaky feeling of dehydration. Avoid toners and makeup that contain alcohol as alcohol-based products have a drying effect on skin. Use a cream-based lotion to hydrate your skin and keep it rejuvenated.

Oily Skin: If your skin is oily, it usually has a lot of shine to it

very soon after cleansing and the pores are generally slightly enlarged. It is more prone to pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads than other skin types and is coarser in texture.
Treatment: Your skin tends to attract more dirt than dry skin, so

wash your face twice a day with a gentle non-foaming cleanser and warm water. Rinse with warm water. Use an alcohol-free, hydrating toner to help remove additional residue. Oil blotting sheets through out the day can help control shine, and it takes as little as 3 minutes after lunch. Although your skin's oily, you still must moisturize it with a light moisturizer daily, or your skin will become dry underneath and overcompensate by producing more oil.

Normal Skin: Some consider normal skin to be

combination skin, but it is not. If your skin is oily in the "T zone" and your nose while dry and taut on the cheeks, it is considered normal. It's also considered normal if it changes with seasons (dryer in winter, oilier in summer). Normal skins can also be 'NormalTo's' as in normal to oily or normal to dry.
Treatment: Wash your face with cleansers that are

designed for your normal/normal-to skin type. Wipe an alcohol free, hydrating toner all over the face. Apply moisturizer more frequently to dry skin.

Combination Skin: Combination skin is comprised

of two extreme skin types on one face. These situations occur when there is acne and a lot of oil in one area when the rest of the skin is generally dry (no oil). #*Two common examples are dry skin with popular and pustular acne on the cheeks or a normal skin with inflamed popular and pustular acne in the chin and mouth area.
Treatment: Tend to each area appropriately as

described above. If the acne is severe, consult a dermatologist or esthetician.

Sensitive Skin: Please note that you may have sensitive skin and

normal, oily, or dry. If your skin has allergic reactions to beauty products and is usually sensitive to the sun, wind, and cold weather, it is sensitive. Sensitivity can show up in rash, redness, inflammation, acne, and dilated capillaries.
Treatment: Look for cleansers, toners, makeup, and moisturizers

that are fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. Cleanse, tone and moisturize with gentle products everyday. The idea for your skin is to always choose products with a soothing benefit. Some common ingredients to look for are: chamomile, azulene, bisabolol, allantoin, lavender, camphor, calamine, rosemary, thyme, aloe vera etc.

1. Prevent sun damage. Sunscreen is the real fountain of youth. Get into the habit of applying sunscreen or a lotion with minimum SPF 15 to 30 protection daily. Remember that the sun's rays can still be damaging in winter months as it reflects off snow. If you don't like taking the time to put on both moisturizer and sunscreen, buy a moisturizer with sunscreen. 2.Cleanse your face gently. Don't clean so much you dry it out. 3.Exfoliate. How contains detailed guides on facial preparations, masks and scrubs. Experiment to discover what works for you.

4.Live a healthy lifestyle. Quit smoking. Few common items age the skin as effectively as tobacco. Eat a healthy diet which includes many fruits and vegetables. Reduce stress when possible.
