80,916 machines - pursuant to the option-to-purchase provision in the contract between Comelec & Smartmatic; 920 machines - purchased for special elections in 2010

AES Preparations
Date MOCK ELECTIONS January 26, 2013

Simulate voting procedures at designated polling places; Registered voters as participants; To be conducted by BEIs; Open to public and media; and Public acceptance and general appreciation of AES.

Final testing and sealing (FTS) All polling places nationwide; Not earlier than seven (7) days but not later than three (3) days before election day; and To be conducted by the Board of Election Inspectors.
