Creating a System Restore Point

To save system files without affecting your personal files, you can use System Restore Click the Start button, point to All Programs, click Accessories, click System Tools, and then click System Restore. (If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, enter the password or provide confirmation.) Click the open System Protection link in the System Restore dialog box Click the System Protection tab, if necessary, then click the Create button Enter a description to help you identify the restore point, then click the Create button Click the OK button
