Front Office roles - Trading, Sales and Research Research: Analyse the markets and bring their ideas together into reports which help clients make investment decisions. Sales: Talk to the clients, giving their orders to the traders and relaying back the prices. They also sell State Street research products to clients to get orders Traders: Act in the foreign exchange market to buy/sell currencies on the customers behalf and to manage their own positions A global team SSGM around the world.

This means that a global bank requires a global foreign exchange team to meet the needs of sophisticated investors. The forex market is at its largest in London trading hours. 84% of all Forex transactions happen in London, New York and Tokyo. London trading hours are between 7am to 5pm.

-Link between Front Office and Back Office to investigate any unmatched client trades
- Booking/Cancelling/Amending FX trades - Pricing of small trades - Covering for sales or traders - Gather charts and important economic indicators
