TRAFFIC REDUCTION USING ANDROID APPLICATION

Report Presented by: -Tanavi Ghosalkar -Shailendra Khandewale -Diksha Suvarna Project Guide :- Prof. Uday Rote

ABSTRACT
The road traffic management is based on dynamic vehicle routing. Selection route depends on various parameters. End user selects source and destination then the path will be displayed on Maps . Optimal path will be provided Accommodation of people in less number of vehicles.

INTRODUCTION
Increasing traffic Individuals takes cabs or own vehicles to drive to their destination Use of vacant seats in the vehicles Application Based on Android commuters from same Vicinity Profile matching More number of commuters can be populated in lesser number of vehicles

Why Android ? ?
What is Android ? Open Source System Direct Access to Hardware Components

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

To reduce traffic congestion. To provide optimum path to reach the destination To accommodate more number of people in lesser number of vehicles To reduce pollution

PROPOSED SYSTEM
Route Of Person Driving The Car Position of the person who wants to take the lift and is in the path of the person driving car Optimum path from source to destination through the person taking the lift using kruskals algorithm Accommodating more people in comparatively less vehicles Traffic updates based on real time traffic conditions. Various features of our system.

Route Of Person Driving The Car

Position of the person who wants to take the lift and is in the path of the person driving car

PROFILE MATCING
Based on age, occupation, gender. Highest matched clusters will be provided. Chat window for selected persons.

Communication between them to notify about their destination etc.

Optimum path from source to destination through the person taking the lift
