About The Test :o

San Fernando Middle School is taking there test in April 18, 2013. We are talking the test because they just want me to give to the school money. The categories of the test are FBB,BB,B,P,A are important of the CST test

How Ive Prepared for the CST

Ive have study for the CST during last summer. I went through my notes in 6th grade. I would read all the time to practice my reading skills. Thats how I prepared for my CST last summer

How SFMS teacher have prepared me for the CST

They have told us to practice my reading. They have told me to practice on my vocabulary & spelling. They told me to go review over my notes.

Test Taking Tips: The Night and Morning Before

In the night I could get a good rest. In the morning I could get a good breakfast. And maybe in the evening I could study. and the weekends I could study.

Test Taking Tips: During the Test

You could cross multiply. And you could re read your question. And take time on the test. You could high light the important stuff you need,

Math Tips

Have flash card to practice. Practice with a buddy. Could take a little pre test. Remember to underline the key word. Cross out the wrong answer.

English Test

Practice spelling. Practice grammar. Remember to underline the key words. Re read every thing if you dont understand. High line important information

What Are Decimals ?

The system of numbers that you use is called the decimal system and is based on powers of ten ( base ten system). Each place in the place value grid is ten times the value of the place to the right of it. Every number to the right of the decimal point is a decimal fraction (a fraction with a denominator of 10, 100, 1,000, and so on).On the place value grid (see the following chart), notice that can be written as ten to a negative exponent, 101. Similarly, can be written as ten to a negative exponent, 102.

to understand decimal numbers you must first know about place value When we write numbers, the position (or "place") of each number is important. And you need where to put the decimals.

Example

Find the sum of 4.24 and 63.03. Step 1 you line up the decimals together. Step 2 then you add all the numbers. Step 3 the answer you get is 67.27 and you put the decimals in place.
