1 . Create an Ad Zone for a Website


※ With AdLantis, you can
manage both PC and Mobile

2. Adding Ad Zones to Ad Group to Keep It Organized


① Create an Ad Zone group

Click on 'Create/Manage Ad
Zones' link on top left and click
on 'Create Ad Zone Group'
button.

You can select multiple Ad Zones


and organize them into one Ad
Zone group.

This feature is particularly useful


when you have campaigns that
belong to multiple Ad Zones.

② Select Ad Zones that you want to add to the group

You can search for Ad Zones by


name, size, URL, and keyword.

Select the Ad Zones that you


want to add to the group.

Click on 'Add Zone to Add Group'


button to add the selected Ad
Zones to the group.

from the group, click on 'Delete'

3 . Ad Campaign Delivery Process

ads from other ad networks.

② Display the ads from the other ad


network at the same rate as the
“Limited Period” ads.
⇒ Go to “Create a campaign” page and
create an HTML Ad. Paste the ad code

( 2 ) When Uploading an Image or a Flash Object

agency name, and client name.

Once you verify that everything


is correct, click 'Creation
Completed'.

!!For “Limited Period” ads, the delivery starts automatically at the start time you set.
!!For impression/click ads that do not have the delivery period specified, the ad
delivery does not start until you follow the directions below.

Click the link that says “You have

1. Ad Zone search feature

You can search for Ad Zones here. You can filter the search by ad type, Ad Zone
name, site URL, ad size, and keyword.

2. Ad Zone deletion

If you wish to delete Ad Zones, you can put a check next to the Ad Zones and click on 'Delete
Zone' button. You can delete multiple Ad Zones at once.

3. Sorting feature
You can sort the search result by clicking on the links in the header column.

4. Downloading Ad Zone list

You can download the list of Ad Zones searched as a CVS file.

5. Setting the number of items to display per page


You can specify how many Ad Zones to display in the search result at once.

Editing and Verifying Ad Zone Information
If you click on the Ad Zone name in the list of searched Ad Zones, its information appears below. You
can do the following here:
・ Change the general information about the Ad Zone.

・ Change the display format of the Ad Zone.

・ Modify the delivery period setting of the Ad Zone.

・ Check the ad delivery status for the Limited Period Ad Zone.

・ Modify the external ad network service information.

・ Retrieve the ad code.

・ Set the default ad to be displayed for the Ad Zone.

By clicking on [≫ Ad currently associated with this ad zone ] , you can see all the campaigns

associated with this Ad Zone, as shown below.

!! Zone Specific Ad: Ads assigned to this Ad Zone(Limited Period Ads and Impression/Click

Ads).

!! Ad Network: This is the ad from the external ad network service that appears in the Ad

Zone when it is empty (See page 22).

!! Default Ads Provided: Ads that get displayed when the Ad Zone is empty because there

are no assigned internal or external ads for it (See page 24).

Changing Ad Zone Properties

1. Ad target site information

You can see the information about the site that the ads will be delivered to, and make
any changes if necessary. Make sure that the information here is correct as it will be
seen by the ad owners in Ad Market Place at the time of the purchase of this Ad Zone.
The fields in this page are:

・ Name of the site that will be displaying the ads.


・ URL of the site that will be displaying the ads.
・ Description of the site that will be displaying the ads.
・ Name of the Ad Zone.

Changing Ad Zone Display Format

1. Changing the appearance of text ads

You can set the display properties of the text for the text ads that are included in this
Ad Zone. Changing these values does not affect banner or flash ads.

!! Do not forget to re-paste the generated code to the web site after you
make any changes.

2. Preview the ad
The preview of the ad is displayed in ② when you make changes in ①.

Even though you cannot modify the text properties of banner/flash ads here, you can still
preview the ads.

The current availability state of the Ad Zone with regards to Limited Period
Ads is shown here in a calendar format.

You can check the usage of this Ad Zone by the Limited Period Ads from this calendar.

・ Orange: Period in use by Limited Period Ads.

  -  X-Axis: Ad Zone usage (0.0% - 100.0%)


  -  Y-Axis: Time (0-24h)
  -  Remaining %: Ad Zone space availability

2. Detail
You can preview the ads that are scheduled to be displayed in that particular day by clicking
on “Detail” link for that day.

External Ad Network Setting

1. Set the information for the other ad network for this Ad Zone.
If you are using other ad networks such as Google AdSense or Overture, then select “Yes,
currently using”. In step ②, you will specify more detail to allow these external ads to
optimally appear in the Ad Zone.

2. Set up the Ad Zone to have AdLantis ads work in conjunction with the
other network ad.

When you selected “Yes, currently using” in step ①, these fields should have
appeared. You can complete the set up here. You must specify:
・ eCPM of the ad for the other ad network.
・ The code for the other ad network.

Regenerate Ad Code

1. Get the ad code

You can verify the generated ad code here. If you changed the Ad Zone setting, you can
re-generate the code and replace the current code in your website.

Setting the Default Ad

Set the Default Ad to configure what to appear in the Ad Zone when nothing
is being displayed.
About Creative Priority
You can adjust the ratio of deliveries among
creatives by setting the "creative's priority"
when setting up multiple ads.

Priority values range from 1-10. If priority is


set to a value of 2 it will have twice the ratio
1 of deliveries compared to an ad with a value
of 1.

A value of 3 will give it a delivery ration 3


times the value of 1 and 1.5 times the ratio of
a value of 2 and so forth.

Below is an example of delivery ratio


percentages calculated for 5 creatives. The

When you click on “Create New Ad”, fields you must enter to construct a default ad
appears. You can create 3 following ad types:

①Banner Ad: Upload an image file and specify text and URL.
②Flash Ad: Upload a Flash file and specify text and URL.
③Already Existing Ad Code: If you want to use an external ad, you can do so by pasting its
code here, even in the middle of its campaign.
※   Appears if there is any open Ad Zone.

2. Preview default ad
You can review the default ads you created here. You can have up to 10 default ads. You
can start, stop or delete the creatives as well.

Finding Ad Zone Groups

Managing already existing groups.

1. Finding Ad Zones
If you have multiple Ad Zones, you can narrow the search by specifying its display
period, type and size.
2. Sorting the search result table
Clicking on the links in the table header will let you sort the search results.

3. Deleting Ad Zone groups


You can select Ad Zone groups by placing a check next to them and clicking on 'Delete
Ad Zone Group' button.
4. Editing Ad Zone group
Clicking on Ad Zone group name takes you to the Ad Zone group editing page.

1. Campaign Search Feature


You can narrow the campaign search by specifying the search criterias here.  
2. Starting/Stopping campaign delivery
Put a check mark next to the campaigns and click on “Start Delivery” to start, and
 “ Stop   Delivery” to stop the campaign delivery. You can stop/start multiple
     deliveries.
3. Download Feature
You can download the search results as a CVS file.  
4. Sorting Feature
You can sort the search results by clicking on the header links of the columns.
5. Viewing and Editing Ad Campaign
If you click on the campaign name, you can view and edit the campaign.

View Campaign Reports

You can see the campaign reports here.

1. Narrowing the search for the campaign reports.


You can filter the campaign reports by specifying following attributes of the
reports:
・ Display period
・ Monetization type
・ Delivery status
・ Size
・ Ad type

2. Starting and Stopping campaigns


You can start or stop the campaigns from here. Simply select the campaigns
you want to start/stop and click on “Start Delivery”/”Stop Delivery”.

You can download the search results as a CSV file.

4. Sorting feature

You can sort the search results by clicking on the header link of the table.

5. Displaying creatives of a campaign

You can see the creatives that belong to a campaign by clicking on the
campaign name. The preview for each creative will be shown. For each
creative, you can see the impression number, click number, click rate, and
total revenue in the delivery period.

6. Daily Reports
You can see the daily report for each campaign. Click on “Daily Report” link to go to
the Daily Report page(shown below). Specify the dates that you want to generate a
report of.

What is Guest User?

By creating a Guest User

account, your clients and

ad agencies can also

view the reports online.

When creating a new Guest User account,


specify an arbitrary user name. After entering
its password, select one of the following access
levels for the account to set which campaign
reports can be viewable by the account:

①All the client campaigns(select one of the


clients in the dropdown list that appears
below.)
②Specific campaign(specify the details of the
campaign in the fields that appear below.)

Editing Guest User Account

When you click “Edit”


button for a particular Gust
User in the List of Guest
Users page, new fields will
appear where you can
modify the account's
password and access level.
Click “Renew” when you
are done.

By clicking the “Make Void” button, the corresponding


Guest User account is flagged as inactive. To reactivate
the user, click in “Activate” button that appears for
inactive users. Also note that if you wish to delete a
Guest User account, you must first inactivate it.

Setting various account properties.

1. Default Management Screen After Login


You can choose either PC or Mobile as your default login screen for Adlantis. Select
one and click on the “Save Changes”. The change will take effect the next time you
log in.
2. Duplicate Click Filter Settings
You can specify how you want the system to count duplicate clicks. There are
two ways to which you can limit the duplicate click counting: Time Settings and
Maximum Clicks. In Time Settings, you can specify the duration of time(in
days, hours or minutes) that you want to filter out duplicate clicks. In
Maximum Clicks, you can specify the upper limit to which you want the
duplicate clicks to be counted within the specified Time Settings. Once the
time expires, the click count gets reset. If time is not specified, it is set to 90
days by default.

If “Don't Specify” is selected for both Time Settings and Maximum Clicks,
which is the default setting, duplicate clicks within an hour of the original click
are omitted from the click count.

Edit Account Information

Verify and Change Account Information

1. View/Edit Account Information

You can view and change your account information from this page.

If you want to change your password, click on the “Change Password” check box. This
will trigger three blank text boxes to appear below the check box, one for your old
password, one for your new password and one to confirm the new password.

After you finish editing the appropriate fields, click on “Save Changes” button.
