SPC Project identification approach


SPC Project identification approach from 2009 to 2012 Project scrutiny by Sectional head and final approval by Director Plant. Identified project is presented by Project leader during Training session for importance of Sectional developmental project. Road map for completion of each step & finalization date freeze. Regional review meeting with RO- coordinator for their guidance & help for implementation of identified job as per action plan. 24x7 availability of Project mentor, SPC Core team & MIQ team for discussion over Project. SPC Project approach for 2013: Project identification approach yet to be finalized.

Based on past feed, We have involved Cross functional function team i.e Process , Quality, Mines, Maintenance, E&I. Training Imparted with support of MIQ-Nasik. 29 SPC projects taken in 2010. Saving through SPC project is Rs. 11 Cr.

79 SPC Developmental projects identified for 2012, to be executed by Systematic Methodology of Problem solving. Necessary Training for new participants and project leaders being arranged through MIQNasik in March & April for 50 Persons in two batches.

Create Forum for cross learning thru SPC implementation (Safety, Logistics, Environment,
FICO & Sales-RO). 75 SPC project were reviewed in Aug-Sep12 (Region-wise) through MIQ and RO-coordinator. All developmental Project are completed by 15th of Nov12.
