Methodology
Objective: To find out the satisfaction level of the

people living in the Krishna Old Age Home. To find out the different problems faced by the management of the NGO.

Cont
Research design: Qualitative
Location: Gandhinagar city Sample size: 15 members Sample frame: Old age people at Krishna

Old Age home Duration: 1 month

Cont
Data collection:

The research report is based on combination of primary and secondary data sources. Primary data has been collected through structured interview. The question has been designed with the aim of fulfilling the research objectives. Primary Data Collection Procedure: Method: Personal interview Questionnaire design: The questionnaire has been designed using a open ended Questions.

Question asked to old age people of the organization:

1. What is your name? 2. What is your age? 3. Since how long are you living in Krishna

Old Age Home? 4. Give brief idea about your organization. 5. What are the criteria for admission? 6. What are the problems that you have faced so that you came to this old age home?

Questions asked to in-charge of the organization:

1. 2.
3. 4. 5. 6.

7.
8. 9.

What is your name? Since how long are you connected with this old age home? General information about the N.G.O. How many people are living in this organization? What are age criteria for the admission? Do you try to convince their family member when they come for admission? How do you take care of old age people who are living in this organization? From where do you raise funds? If you dont have enough funds then what do you do?

Findings from survey

Infrastructure

of the organization is not so good. Houses are not well maintained. As there are only four houses and number of members living there are 30 so it is very inconvenient for them to live in this much space. The outer ambience of the old age home is good, near to the environment, silent and place where the people can relax can have fun.

Cont
If any member is not physically able to do his own

work then organization appoint servant who does all his work. They dont have to earn their livelihood but they have to do their own work. They are concern only about two time meal and only the basic needs. They are very emotionally hurt and they have to live far away from their family. People were not willing to answer any question related to past memory.

Limitation while conducting research

We didnt get enough secondary data

because there was no website of the organization. We got brochure in Gujarati language so it was very time consuming for us to translate information in English language. We got biased response from the members of the organization. Manager was not easily available. Manager was not giving proper response to our questions.

Conclusion
The growing intolerance among youth, coupled

with their inability to adjust with the elderly, is just one of the prime reasons for the rise in the number of old age homes in India.
The fading of joint family system in India and

other innumerable factors have given rise to west-inspired phenomena of old age homes. Surprising cost of living and scanty return on savings have almost pushed these senior citizens on roads

Cont
They have started walking out of their own home

in search of a journey that promises peace, joy and celebration of life with a group of people who share the same boat of life. However not may rather any of them receive it. Young people with vigor and strength forget that its not too late for them to be in the same shoes.
If you respect the one who has molded you into a

fine being, then just hold their hand and lead them straight into your home. They don't need your money or luxury; they just need a shoulder to lean. Help them lead the last few days of their life that doesn't trigger loneliness.

Suggestions:
1. 2. 3. 4.

5.

They should try to improve their infrastructure by maintaining the building and increasing the number of rooms. They should conduct game for entertainment like chess, carom board etc. They should list their NGO that will help to increase the donation. They should make their own online website so that people could know about their institute and activities. Manager should motivate the members to utilize the creative idea, experience of the market and prepare handloom product so that they can earn their own livelihood and they dont have to depend on the donors.
