Definetion:

The system deals with the transfer of consigment,documents,goods and parcels From one location to another as per the requirement of the client/customer.

FRONT END
Front end is used for input purpose. It also used for interact with user. We use vb.net as front end . It has large range of inbuilt tools which are very useful to us to build application. It has capability to work with more than one forms and databases. .

BACK END
Back end is used for storing the data for future purpose. We use MY SQL as backend. It stores large volume of data. Easy to retrieve data. No complexity in storing any type of data. Easy to manage data. Easy manipulation.

Existing system:
Semi manual
Now a days they generate the semi manual receipt at the end of the day. They generate simple report day to day. The current systems not user friendly. So it not easy to operate and is therefore not capable of handling all the needs of the present day requirement.

Disadvantage:

Paper work is more. Difficult to find specific data. Space requirement is more. Chance of data loss.

Proposed system:
item should maintain all the details about customers, branches and couriers. System should be able to generate all types of reports. Well formed outputs are required.

Advantage:

Should be user friendly. Time expensive is less. Easy to find particular data from database

Feasibility study:
1. Operational feasibility: o There right information at the right time is provide to users. o Very useful to user or user friendly. o The proposed solution can fit in with the existing operations.

2.Technical feasibility

There is not any new technology needed. We can expand the proposed system by using the existing technology and development tools as user suggested to the development team.

3.Echonomical feasibility:
There is no need of any new technology or technological tool to develop the system so it would not be a costly system. We can say that it is fully feasible looking at the economy.

Object:
To provide fast and accurate service to the customers. Reduce the amount of manual work by generating reports. Carry information about storage&retrival. To generate various types of performance reports by providing required information.

Jwellery,electronic items,t.v.,vcrs,radios,alarm clock,computer & itsparts,drugs,plants etc. such restricted article are not accepted.
