INTRODUCTION

AREVA Inc. is a Energy, Nuclear & Renewable industry of United State .There Headquarter in Bethesda, MD(U.S). AREVA Inc. decided to distribute Total Compensation Statements to its 4,500 full-time employees in the United States. For that purpose The CEO set an aggressive goal for implementation of employee compensation issue in an organisation. AREVA expects the TCS to help the company improve employee retention, which is one of its key HR goals. Many of AREVAs employees are engineers who are in very high demand in the market. Finding and keeping top talent is important because the talent population is not very large. HR Benefits Manager Darlene Lomax was tasked with accelerating the project for completion within 8 weeks. Though Lomax has 30 years of HR benefits experience, she had never overseen a TCS project like this.

PROBLEM IN THE CASE:

AREVA Inc. recognized the importance of Total Compensation Statements (TCS) as part of its long-term compensation benefits strategy for 4,500 employees. To identify the basic information systems professional within AREVA was a big challenge, who actually works closely with Ultimate Software. To improve the employee retention towards organisational goals was also a challenge for CEO and HR manager. Beacuse there employees are engineers who already have very high demand in the market. The role of HR Manager will increase that how they effectively and efficiently complete the project within 8 weeks over 4,500 employees.

SOLUTION:

HR manager first to analyse the International Foundation of Employee Benefits for a list of recommended TCS vendors and use her 30 years of experience. To Hire those systems professional within AREVA, who works closely with Ultimate Software. They should have to be more knowledge and experience about the computer operating system. Utilize the HR resources that HR manager will plan to allocate the TCS project in effective manner. For better understanding of things select ihouse (think ihouse first given in case) who responded quickly that based on price, value and experience. To approach the internal experts who representing the HR technology, compensation, communications, and work as analysts.

FINDING:The AREVA Inc. recognized the importance of Total Compensation Statements (TCS) as the part of its long-term benefits strategy. The purpose behind it was to improve employee retention, because maximum numbers of employee are engineers who have very high market demand. So Finding and keeping top talent is the motive of AREVA industry because the talent population is not very large. For that they are using the compensation strategy with the help of HR manager (Darlene Lomax). She has done their job with determination and takes the information with the help from ihouse and employee also. It implement very effectively in organization after 8week for fulfil the Total Compensation Statement.

SUGGESITION:

To increase the time period (more than 8 week) to understanding this kind of compensation related issue for 4,500 employees in an organization. Utilize the source of information in effective manner. Watch the other organization compensation strategy and HR goals. Take the expert opinion for less time consuming and better solution. Understand the employee views regarding any change. Take advantage of HR manager experience whatever he/she have.
