For you who is watching , I will begin with the definition of the violence according to World Health Organization.

Violence is the intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person, or against a group or community, which either results in or has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, death, psychological harm, maldevelopment, or deprivation.

WHAT means Violence is the intentional use of physical force or power? intentional=planned Physical force: force applied to the body. The force used must be calculated to overcome the victims resistance. Power: great ability to do or act. The possession of control over others.

Extremely forceful actions that are intented to hurt people or are likely to cause damage.

Typology of violence - self-directed violence - interpersonal: child abuse, intimate partner, abuse of elderly, youth violence, sexual violence

- collective violence: crimes of hate committed by organized groups, terrorist acts and mob violence

Self-directed violence Self-directed violence is subdivided into suicidal behavior and self-abuse. The former includes suicidal thoughts, attempted suicides and completed suicides. Selfabuse, in contrast, includes acts such as self-mutilation.

Interpersonal

Interpersonal violence is divided into two subcategories: -Family and intimate partner violence
-Community violence: refers to exposure, as a witness or through actual experience, to acts of interpersonal violence by individuals who are not intimately related to the victim.

Collective violence Collective violence is subdivided into social, political and economic violence. Unlike the other two broad categories, the subcategories of collective violence suggest possible motives for violence committed by larger groups of individuals or by states.
