About DKES-SCS

School of Computer Science (SCS) was established in 2003 under the aegis of Delhi Kannada Education Society (DKES). Over years it has made its mark as a premier institution for Professional Computer Education. Our practice of innovative and participative learning methodologies coupled with emphasis on contemporary skills has helped us to deliver high quality education to our students. Benefitting from the quality learning opportunities we provide in a very positive socio-cultural ambience, our students continue to do well in their professional career. Most of them have been placed well and have grown in life. We remain committed to provide all our future students a strong platform to learn the right concepts and skills and effectively providing them a gateway to a very successful professional career. Our Institute, located in a very prime location of central Delhi, is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), a leading Delhi State University. At present, we offer a full-time 3 year Post Graduate Degree Program in Master of Computer Application (MCA).

Director
Dr. P.K Mishra over the last 25 years has held several senior technomanagerial positions in the IT industry and has worked for well-known companies like Digital, Hewlett-Packard, Sun, Novell and National Informatics Center (NIC). His areas of expertise include Operating Systems, middleware and interoperability. During the last few years he has been focusing on the Cloud platform and has helped some large organizations migrate their applications and services to the Cloud. In the 1990s, he led teams that rolled out a very successful UNIX variant and a Linux distribution. He is an active proponent of Open Source Software and has enabled many large organizations port and migrate their products and applications to Linux. At different times, he has acted as guest faculty and run full term courses for Delhi College of Engineering, FORE School of Management, Utkal University and Kalasalingam University.
