Worlds third largest express transportation company and cargo airline. Smith got the idea from a paper he wrote while at Yale University identifying the importance of time in business and the inflexibility of US Airlines at the time of making fast deliveries. In 1983, became the 1st US company to reach $1 Billion in revenue without any mergers or acquisitions. Rapid growth by using technology such as COSMOS and DADS. Slowly expanded operations to other countries, today present in close to 200 countries across the world.
