Learning Objectives: 1. Student will be taught to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of length.
Learning Outcomes:
1. 25 out of 30 students will be able add units of length in metres and centimetres answering at least 4 out of 5 questions correctly.
Assessment: 1. Observe students response during learning activity. 2. Check on students answer in class practice.
Previous Knowledge: 1. Pupils have learned about length in previous class and addition of up to 1000 in semester 1.

Materials: 1. Teacher asks students to pick up the Scripts rubbish around them. Textiles 2. Teacher asks them whether they had gone to fabric shop. 3. Teacher, then select three students to run out acting. Each student will be given different role for them to play. The following are the role: a) Fabric shop owner Mr Tan (old man) b) Customer A Madam Molly (old lady) c) Fabric shop worker Albert (young man)
4. The teacher explains to them about their roles. After that, they start the acting with help of the script provided. 5. After that, the teacher asks question related to the role play. a) How many metres textiles do Madam Molly has? b) How do you get the answers? c) What is the operation involves? 6. Teacher relates to the topic.
1. Teacher reused the songs that he had taught them in the addition of whole numbers in the previous lessons. 2. Teacher divides the class into two groups and Lesson they sing the song about addition so that the Development pupils will recall back on what they had (50 minutes) learned about addition concepts. 6. Teacher chooses students to answer questions from the box and the students will pick questions from the box. i. 213 cm + 350 cm = Lesson ii. 405 cm + 235 cm = Development iii. 60 m + 30 m = (50 minutes) iv. 67 m + 52 m = 0820 - 0910
1. Students sit in group of 6. 2. Teacher gives instructions about the plane origami. Teacher will give each pupil a piece of Lesson paper. Development Teacher shows some example on plane (50 minutes) origami in front of the classroom. 0820 - 0910 Teacher will show on one example on how to do the origami.
Cooperative
Materials: Teacher will give time to the pupils to A4 paper choose on any types of plane origami Ruler and the pupil will fold them up. After Appendix folding the papers, the pupils need to Cmeasure it. Example Lesson Each group need to add up all the length of plane Development of plane origami based on their plane. origami (50 minutes) Teacher asks the pupils about their 0820 - 0910 outcomes. The highest total length Moral recorded will be the winning group. Values: Cooperative 3. Teacher asks the group leader to come forward and take the papers for group members. Class Practice (15 minutes : 0855 - 0910) 1. Teacher asks student to do exercise in worksheets (Appendix D and Appendix E) given. In the worksheet 1, the students need to calculate and colour the answer based on the given colour stated, and in worksheet 2, Lesson the students need to colour the same Development number given. (50 minutes) 2. Teacher gives time to pupils to finish the 0820 - 0910 exercise. 3. Teacher guides and monitoring students 4. If still have time, teacher and student will check answer together but if there are no time left, teacher will asks students to pass up the worksheet or complete it as homework.
