About the organization

The lovers of education of Thara and the whole B.K. district were dreaming of having an institution of higher education in Thara way back in early 1984s. The district is the most backward area of North Gujarat and the literacy then was almost nil. Finally their dream was materialized in 1986 with the beginning of the Kankrej Arts And Commerce College Thara with strength of 80 students. Now Arts College has 650 students. To provide commercial training to the business community, the Kankrej Arts And Commerce College Thara also began Commerce stream in Have 250 students. Total no of 900 students. This College Provide its Main subject as Sanskrit Gujrati and Economy. This makes it one of the best colleges of the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University.

About Institute
M.K.Institute of Management Studies,Patan is located at the patan, Nr.Siddhpur char Rasta,Patan. It is Institute, which is handled by Mr.Upendrabhai K.Patel(Chairman). He is a very genuine person.From his degree no matter to think about is intelligence.They are other employees who are working at this center.The center have departments School Department, Library Department,B.Ed. Department, P.G.D.C.A Department etc. M.K.Institute is Affiliated with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. The Institute have as mention earlier Department like school in school std 1 to std 11 students are studies. It has Nursery, Junior K.G and Senior K.G Department. The school provide facility to student such as (1)Mini Theatre(2)Visual Hall(3)Nursery Room(4)Cultures Room (5)Science Laboratory(6)Library(7)Computer Lab(8) Children Bathroom(9)Children Park(10)A Big Playground and(11)Music Room. The another department of Institute is P.T.C College with 32 faculties.All are co-operate with students.A girls hostel building are near the Institute with minimum of 100 rooms,here the students get all facilities such as Study Room,Under Wall Playing Room,A Kitchen and A Discuss Room.
