Classifying the students score into the following criteria : 86 - 100 very good 71 - 85 good 61 - 70 fair 51 - 60 pair 0 - 50 very pair The Calculating mean score, frequency, and percentage by using SPSS analysis Calculating standard deviation and t-test by using SPSS analysis

CHAPTER V

Conclusion

Diary is one of media to teach students in learning simple past tense Based on the mean score, the first year students of SMKN 1 Bungoro was improved in past tense by using diary. Its proved by the T-test value (18.41) which is greater than T-table (2.060)
