WHAT IS HUC?
Two different jobs The scope encompasses all surface engineering capabilities that include design, engineering, procurement, provision, fabrication, installation, and construction.

The HOOK-UP" refers to making the connections from the well to the oil and gas separator and from the separator to either the storage tanks or a flow line. It also includes connection the utilities needed for the controls to function. The COMMISSIONING" refers to activating the system once it is hooked up.

Learned safety requirement for onshore and offshore work. Learned several Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for several job. Learned on how to prepare Daily Progress Report (DPR) for HUC. Pipeline services- PIGGING procedure. Preparing NORMS.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB HAZARD ANALYSIS (JHA)

This analysis of a project is completed by engineer to identify hazards to employees and the public. It identifies hazards, corrective actions and the required safety equipment to ensure public and employee safety.

MATERIAL TRACKING REPORT (MTR)

Is the process of analyzing the drawings and determining all the materials required to accomplish the design.

PIPELINE SERVICES-PIGGING PROCESS

Which uses pressurised container to shoot a cleaning device (PIG) through the pipeline to perform a variety of functions. Objectives:

i) Used to clean and clear the pipeline. ii) Removed unwanted material from the line. iii) Examined the pipe from the inside. iv) Corrosion inspection of the pipe.

NORMS
Stands for NUMBER OF MANHOURS. The purpose of this document is as a guideline for PBJV staff or contractors to carry out construction manhours estimate of Offshore engineering/maintenance activities. The schedule of NORMS shall be used to evaluate all works.
