Any organization should take a strict view on managing discipline and performance in the organization but find out the root cause of such cases and act accordingly. Underperformance might not always be because of negligence or incapability. Eg: Kasir A humanitarian approach to employee management is important as they are the most critical asset of a company. Target the root cause rather than the superficial one This would increase efficiency and productivity of employees. Eg: Hammings

Too much focus on performance and no people centric policy Bureaucratic and hierarchical model of management; no feedback or suggestion mechanism for those at management level No relaxation in policies even for top performers Management is insensitive to the problems faced by the employees in their lives Overall, the employees were not valued and they did not have a healthy work enivronment
