EXECUTIVE SUMMARY REPORT

KAP. JUAN MENDOZA

Our routinary and schedule of meetings in the Barangay are:


Regular Sangguniang Barangay meeting is every 2nd and last Friday of every month. Case hearing is done every day from Mondays to Saturdays. Lupon meeting is every 3rd Saturday of the month and Tanod meeting is every 4th Saturday of the month. BCPC meeting is conducted every 1st Thursday of the 2nd month of every quarter, and other mandated Barangay Councils.

Council Legislation
On Council Legislation, the Barangay Council has passed at least 13 Resolutions for the 2nd and 3rd quarter of the year and these were addressed to different offices or agencies requesting funds to finance various programs and projects

Ordinances
The Barangay Council has also enacted at least four (4) Ordinances which are two Ordinances for Council Budgeting, an Ordinance on Boarding houses, and an Ordinance on the implementation of the Citizens Charter of Barangay Pico

Lupong Tagapamayapa
Relative to the Lupong Tagapamayapa, the Council has catered to at least 82 cases from April to October, 2012, and at least 53 cases were amicable settled. Others were issued of the Barangay Protection Order (BPO), some cases were Certified to the higher Government Court, and some were withdrawn.

Barangay Educational Assistance Program


For this School year 2012, at least 22 students/pupils have availed of the yearly Barangay Educational Assistance Program (BEAP)

Philhealth
Indigent family members of Barangay Pico have also availed of the Philhealth program: at least 44 indigent members were sponsored by the Barangay 42 indigent members were sponsored by the Municipality and Province, and 10 indigent families were sponsored by the Office of the Congressman

On Childrens Program We have our two BCPC child representatives, Brenda Chumacog and Alshane Bologne Pagadian. They are active and have been continuously attending skills and Development trainings at the Child and Family Services Philippines, Inc. (CFSPI) at Guisad and at Tiptop, Baguio City.

So far, the nine (9) Day Care centers of Pico has a total registered of 217 pupils, 104 male and 113 female pupils. Asides, the number of censused Out-of-School youth (OSY) in our Barangay is 143 members with 86 male and 57 female. There are 487 students of Pico Elementary School. Under the Health Program from April to September, 2012, the following data are accomplished: Target for Antigen DPT3 & Bep B is 239 and the accomplishment is 290 or 121%. Fully immunized child is 239 target and the accomplishment is 241 or 100.8%. Vitamin A supplementation, 6 to 59 mos. old target is 1,912 and the accomplishment is 1,896 or 99%

Our Barangay has a new service vehicle or Patrol Car with call sign of the driver as Upper Bayabas This vehicle is not only for peace and order purposes but it may be used also upon request of constituents for any emergency purposes.

Last but not the least, I would like to mentioned that the celebration of our Barangay fiesta is supposed to be this coming December, 2012. A meeting shall be called later so we could make plans for the preparations. Thank you and good day.
