DIGITAL PILLING TESTER:

PURPOSE:
Digital Pilling Tester is used to check the pilling resistance of the fabric. Pilling is a fabric surface fault characterized by little pills of entangled fibers clinging to the surface.

Pills are formed during wearing or washing by the entanglement of the loose fibers, which protrude from fabric surface. To determine the tendency to form pills, test specimens taken from the fabric sample are rubbed against each other under controlled conditions.

PROCEDURE:
The very first step is to clean the boxes thoroughly. Then place four mounted test specimens in each box and close the boxes. Later set the pre-set counter at 18000 with the help of the Thumb Wheel setting provided on the Digital Counter. Press the start button. The machine would stop automatically after 18000 revolutions. Now, finally take the specimens and compare them with the photographic rating standards.

 DYEING RUBBING TESTER

PURPOSE:

This state-of-the-art dyeing rubbing tester allows the user to judge the color firmness of dyeing or printed materials. The abrasive hammer is wrapped with either a dry or wet white cotton cloth, thus allowing abrasion of the colored sample with certain loads and times. The sample is then compared with a grayscale to judge the color firmness.

STRUCTURE:

This machine is structured by a table, Abrasion Hammer, Load shaft, Motor, Eccentric Wheel, reduction gear, Counter & Base. Table: Made of copper plate, diameter 200 mm (chambered), with 6 sets of grips Abrasion Hammer: Total 6 pcs. Length/width 20mm, surface diameter 45 mm cambered. PERSPIRATION TESTER PERSPIROMETER:

PURPOSE: The perspiration tester is used for the test of fading or dyeingmovement in textile, which were soaked by sweat, chloride water, seawater or distilled water.

TEST METHOD:
A compound specimen is used to soak in artificial perspiration resolution (separately in acid and alkali) completely. Natural dry for 30 minutes, then use this tester to apply a constant pressure. The specimen is then put in 37C drying oven for 4 hours. The specimen is removed, left to completely dry, then compared with a gray scale to evaluate the perspiration-resistance level. (Suitable for all fiber).

Spray Tester:
PURPOSE:
The Spray Tester is suitable for any fibrous textile processed by waterproof treatment. This tester is used to inspect the textiles wetting resistance on the surface. Suitable for all kinds of water-proof cloth, raincoat cloth, umbrella cloth, textile and fiber cloth. Fix specimen on round frame to avoid wrinkles and set the specimen on the testing stand adjusted to a 45 degrees angle. Pour 250cc. of water into a glass funnel for dipping on specimen, which may take 25-30 seconds. Test three times in order to get an average value to observe the absorption degree in order to realize the waterproof degree of the surface.
