Continuous Networking & People Management


Placement activity being relation-based, networking is the key driver for every placement season. Activities: Meet the existing and new recruiters periodically to keep the relationship strong. To have close liaison with Alumnus to bring-in newer and larger corporates to campus. Networking with Gurgaon campus to tap opportunities from Northern regions.

Following up with companies that did not match criteria for the given year.
Leverage networks and CRM to successfully manage the campus placement process and to provide right-fit employment for students.

Targets: Keeping up with the current and upcoming recruitment trends in the market. Ensure newer companies offer diverse role with better profile and packages apart from the existing recruiters.

Coaching and Mentoring Placement Committee


Activities:

Introducing the members of the committee to the process involved in placement.


Motivating team to take up responsibilities and handle various corporate accounts independently Continuous Coaching and Mentoring by providing them direction and Intervening in case of anomalies. Freedom and flexibility to the Team to come-out with newer ideas and suggestions and ensure that they take up all the assigned task and deliver the same meticulously Ensuring motivation levels remain high despite lack of monetary rewards. Allow them to front-end the activities and provide directions.

Targets: Provide active support, assistance and a positive contribution to the wider team by polishing and developing their skills , so that they can take up responsibilities independently.

Coaching and Mentoring Students and Alumni


Being a Student Driven Institution, Placecom plays a vital role in the day-to-day activities of Placement.

Activities:
Giving feedback to student body with regards to resume and their career aspirations Helping students in role mapping according to their respective specializations and career aspirations Face to face handling of concerns regarding placements (Personal & Professional) Advising and assisting alumni for job switches Mentor, Counsel and guide the students to take decision on their career front at right time. Monitor Students behavior and make necessary corrections in terms of their career goal, aspirations and progression during the academic year. Regularly keep abreast of student behavior and introduce disciplinary action timely against defaulters.

Targets:
Following latest developments in each specialization in the market for the benefit of students. Act as a bridge between the Recruiters and the student in finalizing their packages, profiles and location.

Campus Placement Strategy & Planning


Activities: Effectively manage the Existing & New Recruiters and ensure their participation in the Campus Recruitment Drive for the school and their recruitment counts as per category. Show-case the talent pool available in the campus as per Recruiters need and demand Organize Programs for Resume Building, Interview Techniques, Market happenings, soft-skills training etc. for the batch using institutional and external expertise. Ensure preliminary screening of Job Descriptions, organizations reputation in the Market and effectively negotiate the salary, Number of positions/profiles with the corporates, Anchor Campus Placements, and close the deal meticulously. Create demand in front of corporates about our Talents and ensure smooth flow of activities during their visit to Campus Targets: Strategically allocate slots for various corporates looking at Students aspiration and choice and ensure that the number of positions get filled as per their demands. Stagger corporates to minimize the job losses Convince the HR to look at more number of positions beyond their expectations .

Rise in the average median salary. Target of adding at least 50 newer and diverse companies every year to the recruiter list. Build external profile of the Institute and ensure safety, quality and

continuous improvement.
