CASE STUDY :DISCRIMINATION

Teacher : R. Maubrey Student :Ghebosu Cezara IPAG Business School Paris

What is Discrimination?
The unequal treatment of individuals, usually on the

basis of gender, race, age, religion or disability.

Background
Romanian and Bulgarian students who attend higher

education in the Netherlands are discriminated against Dutch law, which provides for the extension of restrictions on the labor market by 31 December 2013.

Thus, they found themselves facing a difficult choice: to

continue their education by parents or return home

It is unfair that we do not have the same home as the rest of

Europe. Obviously we can not compete with students from Western Europe, receiving considerable sums of money from their parents and even their governments. We do not ask to provide us money, we just want to have the right to work here, because we want to pursue an education

A Dutch right wing political party launched a website

aimed at gathering denunciations against Polish, Romanian and Bulgarian nationals living in the Netherlands. The Netherlands is one of the main countries blocking Romania and Bulgaria from joining the Schengen Agreement
