An excellent answer: 9 "ery thorough answer to the #uestions will demonstrating an e!tensi"e
reading from a "ariety of different sources and a "ery comprehensi"e approach to the e"aluation of the chosen case. This will include the use of a "ariety of different models* including those taught in class and researched from a range of further reading. You will not only use models +ut also take a critical compare and contrast approach with them* concluding which is the +est organisational fit. Diagrams will +e used and adapted to the organisational e!amples. The assignment will also flow concisely.

A very good answer: This is likely to +e less well constructed.

/t should answer thoroughly the first two #uestions using theoretical models discussed in the class and pro"ide e"idence of literature re"iew. There will +e a comprehensi"e approach to the e"aluation of the chosen organisation* +ut it is likely that the range of models used will +e smaller and more descripti"e* although still showing e"idence of +ackground reading. /t will clearly demonstrate an e"aluati"e* critical* approach to the work* +ut the conclusions are likely to +e less well formulated.

A fair answer: This is likely to pro"ide descripti"e answers to the #uestions* displaying little
e"idence of +ackground reading and will also +e descripti"e rather than analytical in its approach* in relation to +oth the organisational e"idence and the use of models. The assignment is not likely to +e well constructed.

This will fail to gi"e a satisfactory answer or will gi"e wrong answers to the #uestions and make either no o"ert use* or "ery insignificant use of any of the esta+lished theories* either used in class or from +ackground reading in the analysis of the SCM practices of the chosen company. /t is really important to +e a+le to distinguish +etween your own ideas and the ideas of others. /f you fail to make this distinction clear* then it +ecomes difficult or impossi+le for the marker to get an appreciation of what is your contri+ution to the su+6ect and what is the work of others. -here this distinction isn<t made* you lea"e yourself open to an accusation of plagiarism.
