Siprotec 5 Line Protection Ordering configuration

All configuration criteria are coded within the Long Product Code
The first 5 digits define the Device Type device specific base price

The Hardware Configuration is based on common module system common price structure
The Functional Class defines the number of needed function points common price structure Significant Property (position 21) define major price offsets which cannot be addressed by function points. Actually used for 7SD/7SL only: 1 2 line ends 2 3 line ends 3 6 line ends device specific Add-On price

Example: 7SL87-AAAA-AA0-0AAAA0-AA2111-12111A-DAA000-000AA0-CH1BA1-CF0

Protection news Power Swing: Two functions

Power Swing Blocking (ANSI 68) Out-of-step protection (ANSI 78)

Avoids uncontrolled tripping of the distance protection Operates under symmetrical load conditions as well as during single-pole auto-reclose cycles Requires no settings Can be configured separately to block each distance zone
Next click next page

Evaluates the impedance trajectory of the positive sequence impedance Provides a response characteristic with up to 4 impedance zones in the R/X plane Operates independently from settings of distance protection zones Increments counters depending on the point at which the impedance trajectory enters or exits the associated impedance zone
