OVERVIEW
WORLD CITI EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

WCC Educational System consist of five (5) Campuses, namely:

WCC QUEZON CITY (MAIN)

Formerly Quezon City Medical Center and Colleges Hailed as the mother campus Established in June 15, 1971. Offers mostly health related courses, Tourism, HRM, Aviation, etc.

WCC CALOOCAN
Formerly Holy Trinity School Founded by Mrs. Virginia Datiles Vda. De Lizardo in 1969. Acquired by WCC in 1997 Has grown in leaps and bounds.

WCC - ANTIPOLO
Formerly Westminster Colleges of the Philippines Established in June 17, 2000 Offers baccalaureate degrees in Business Administration, Criminology, Nursing, Accounting, Elementary and Secondary Education

WCC GUIMBA, NUEVA ECIJA

Formerly Eulogio R. Dizon Colleges, but initially known as Corregidor College founded by Mr. Eulogio R. Dizon Acquired by the Guicos on December 2009

ST. MICHAEL ENGINEERING AND AVIATION TECHNOLOGY (SMEAT) CENTER

Located at Binalonan, Pangasinan. Training ground for students who are taking up Aviation and Aeronautical courses.

LIBRARY MISSION
The World Citi Colleges Guimba Branch Library is a dedicated advocate of providing information through print and non-print materials in support of research, teaching and learning needs of the Institution.

SERVICES

CIRCULATION SERVICES
This service allows students to borrow books either for library or home use for a certain period of time. Usually WCC Guimba Library allow students to borrow 2 books for a period of one day subject to renewal if not in demand and the whole semester or school year for faculty members/administrators.

REFERENCE SERVICE
The Library answer questions whether directional, ready-reference, research or reference type.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN SERVICE

Students who wish to conduct research and avail of the services of other library/ies can secure a letter from the library stating their intention subject to the procedures of the library they will visit.

BIBLIOGRAPHIC ADVISORY SERVICES

The Library provides research assistance to its customers through advisory on what particular materials are available and how it is written in bibliographic and citation style. This service also include compiling bibliographic listings of materials for students, faculty or researchers for a minimal fee.

READING ASSESSMENT PROGRAM

The Library conducts reading assessment program for pre-Elem and Elementary pupils to measure their reading progress.

INTERNET USAGE SERVICES

The library offer students an opportunity to use the computers and search the Internet to access information from the World Wide Web.

LIBRARY INSTRUCTION
The Department offers instruction to students on the efficient and effective use of the library, its resources and facilities.

CURRENT AWARENESS SERVICE

Information about new books, library statistics, book reviews, trivias, announcements, etc. are disseminated through the Library Bulletin.

CIRCULATION
Books on various subjects such as Education, Criminology, English, Mathematics, General Education, as well as High School and Grade School Textbooks.

FILIPINIANA
Books about the Philippines and Filipinos written by Filipino or foreign authors are available in the Library.

FICTION
Books for entertainment reading such as novels, stories, humor, etc.

ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL BOOKS

Mostly textbooks used as additional reference material by Elementary and High school students as well as faculty members.

AUDIOVISUAL COLLECTIONS
Slides Transparencies (Science, Business, Management) Charts CDs and DVDs (25 titles, including English topics, movies and humanities) Video Recordings
