Overview

The Iron Legion is a group of remote-controlled Iron Man armours serving as Iron Man's main combat support team, when desperate times calls for desperate measures in battle. They are armours Mark VIII to XLI. After the battle of New York, Tony Stark realized that Iron Man might not be enough to defend the Earth from the next threat that could come from any of the Nine Realms, not even with the help that War Machine could give him. So he decided to make several or many more new Iron Man armours that could be remotely controlled and help him in any future battles. He named them the Iron Legion.

Mark XI
Anti-Radiation Armour

Igor

The Igor Armour was made by Tony Stark long after the battle of New York.

As part of the Iron Legion, the Igor armour was used by Iron Man and War Machine during their fight against Aldrich Killian and his Extremis soldiers.
When the destruction of Red Snapper caused structural instability Tony summoned Igor to stable the platform. It was destroyed when Tony activated "Operation: Clean Slate."

Heartbreaker

The Heartbreaker Armour was made by Tony Stark after the Battle of New York. As part of the Iron Legion, the Heartbreaker Armour was used by Iron Man and War Machine during their epic fight against Aldrich Killian and his Extremis soldiers. The battle did not go well for Heartbreaker. It first attempted to save Red Snapper from destruction and failed. After Tony donned the Silver Centurion, Heartbreaker was sent to carry Rhodes to the Patriot Armour. However, as they were in flight Heartbreaker was attacked and Rhodes fell. If the armour managed to escape the Extremis Soldiers it was later destroyed by the "Clean Slate" protocol.

Midas

The Mark XXI armor (also known as the Midas Armor) is one of Tony's armors that can go at supersonic speeds. Its speeds are only beaten by the Mark XL. It is part of the Iron Legion.

It has the potential to make a sonic boom, but might fall apart if attempted.

Mark VI

The Mark VI is the most powerful model built, just before the introduction of the Mark VII. Like all previous models, the suit increased the physical abilities of the wearer, giving Stark superhuman strength, durability and reflexes. The most improved feature is the new Vibranium-powered Arc Reactor that gives the suit more power than ever before, superior in every way over the previous generation Palladium-powered Arc Reactor. It has improved flight and weapons systems. The repulsors are capable of more sustained charge and the missile weapon systems inside the suit is improved. It even includes the mini-guns from the Mark III. The newest feature is the palladium powered laser system that when used can cut through Hammer drones with ease. Although it can be used for one time only before having to eject the burnt palladium. Overall, the suit is the most powerful model by Stark thus far as it has enabled him to tear through Hammer Drones, battle two Asgardian gods, and survive tremendous amounts of damage before it was retired.

Gemini

The Gemini Armor was made by Tony Stark after the battle of New York. As part of the Iron Legion, the Gemini Armor was used by Iron Man and War Machine during their fight against Aldrich Killian and his Extremis soldiers. The Gemini armor is used for deep space travel. As such it has an incredibly durable exoskeleton. It trusthers are capable of reaching great speeds at high altitiudes. It is equipped with a high power "concoussion" cannon, most likely shot through the chest RT.
