Unhappy Taxpayer & Voter advocated for the taxpayers of DeKalb County to ensure a 200 million dollar bond was not passed that made only DeKalb and Fulton County responsible for the debt while 159 counties used Grady at a cost of 68 million dollars per year and paid nothing in property taxes.

Unhappy Taxpayer & Voter revealed the chart to the public that proved Perimeter CID received federal and state funding with the help of the entire county of DeKalb as early as 2007. By Cooperation Agreement, Perimeter CID was to remain with DeKalb County.

The Cooperative Agreement between DeKalb County and Perimeter CID signed on June 14, 1999 enabled Perimeter CID to acquire over $254 million dollars of federal and state funding. However, the City of Dunwoody wants to take the Perimeter CID away from the entire county of DeKalb, causing the property owners taxes to go up and land value to go down. Is this fair and/or Constitutional? DeKalb property owners will pay this money for the next 25-30 years (bonds) on their property taxes.
