WeedMaps.com shows 15 medical marijuana collective gardens currently operating in the city limits (As of 4/23/2014).
4 of these medical marijuana collective gardens are delivery only services with no physical address.

State License Applications: Retail

There have been 89 applications received by the Liquor Control Board for retail stores in the City of Spokane.
8 of these stores proposed locations violate Spokane Municipal Code for zoning, leaving 81 applications that are compliant.

District 1: 55 applications. District 2: 8 applications. District 3: 18 applications.

There have been 37 applications received by the Liquor Control Board for producer licenses in the City of Spokane.
5 of these stores proposed locations violate Spokane Municipal Code for zoning, leaving 32 applications that are compliant.

Retail Lottery took place April 21-25. Those selected in the Retail Lottery will be announced to the public on May 2nd. Retail Stores are expected to open in early July. WA LCB will be working with Spokane, Tacoma and Seattle, as Retail Stores open.

Colorado Update

State House of Rep. unanimously passed a bill limiting the amount of concentrated marijuana that can be sold, and another bill requiring more specific labeling of pot-laced products. Denver, CO has formed a new Marijuana Advisory Council. They will make marijuana policy recommendations regarding goals, priorities and objectives to the mayor.

The Joint Budget Committee approved a spending plan, that included the $23 million already on hand. $5.8 million will be provided for a statewide marijuana education campaign.
-$1.2 million for police training. -$3.5 million to expand drug treatment programs statewide. -$3 million to add more school nurses. -$4 million directed towards programs for at-risk youth. -$904,00 to survey CO youth about marijuana and other drug use.
