Electronic Service Analyst
Que es el ESA?
El Electronic Service Analyst (ESA), es una
herramienta de diagnstico basada en el PC
similar al CAT ET o Cummins INSITE.
Porque necesitamos el ESA?
ESA es necesitado para detectar cdigos de falla
y para diagnosticar la nueva instrumentacin
electrnica.
Cuando necesitamos el ESA?
A partir del 2005. Cuando hay
problemas
Como trabaja el ESA?
El ESA se comunica a traves de un adaptador de
datos (DLA) a los componentes del NAMUX. El
tcnico usar el ESA para leer los cdigos de
falla almacenados en los componentes, verificar
la funcionalidad de los instrumentos, y
diagnosticar la causa de los problemas usando
la informacin en el e-portal (DealerNet).

DLA - Wireless Vehicle Link
Una vez conectado al camin, el DLA or
Wireless Vehicle Link (WVL) suministra
mensajes entre el camin y el laptop via
a wireless link.

El WVL y el computador estn
configurados para comunicarse entre s
UNICAMENTE. Esto no requiere de una
red inalmbrica local (local wireless
network).

Esta configuracin se ajusta durante la
instalacin del ESA

DLA Vnculo inalmbrico del vehculo
Una vez est conectado al conector
de diagnstico Deutsch de 9 pins al
vehculo, el DLA o vnculo inalmbrico del
vehculo (WVL) entrega mensajes entre el
camin y la computadora porttil por
medio de un vnculo inalmbrico.
El WVL y la computadora estn
configurados para comunicarse
nicamente entre s. Esta funcionalidad no
requiere una red inalmbrica local.
Esta configuracin o red se configura
durante la instalacin de ESA.

Keyboard Navigation
Users can navigate ESA using the keyboard by using
Function, Alt, and arrow keys.

F1: Opens the applications help file
F4: Connect
Ctrl + F4: Disconnect
F5: Monitor (opens monitor/simulate window)
F6: Diagnose (opens DTCs window)
F7: Program (opens Chassis Specific Parameters
window)
F8: Change View in the Monitor window between
illustrated dash and list
F9: Monitor

F11: Start dash cluster test
