Activities

Teacher shows a picture of a girl and a town.
Teacher conducts QnA session regarding to the picture.
Pupils respond to teachers questions.
Teacher puts up a reading text on the board.
Teacher reads the text.
Pupils listen and repeat after the teacher.
Teacher highlights the words with the ow sound.
Teacher shows a few word cards on the ow sound, and drills pupils pronunciation of the words.
Teacher shows onset cards.
Pupils blend the letters to form a word.
Pupils read the words in groups and individually.

Activities

Teacher demonstrates modeled writing on the board.
Teacher shows a few pictures using the PowerPoint slide to the pupils.
Teacher stimulates pupils to construct simple sentences based on the pictures on the board.
Teacher checks and corrects pupils sentences.
Teacher distributes the worksheets.
Pupils complete the worksheets.
Teacher facilitates and guides the pupils individually.

DAY 4
Theme : World of Knowledge
Topic : Direction
Title : Treasure Hunt
Focus : Language Arts
Content Standard : 4.3
Learning Standard : 4.3.1
Learning Objective : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to find the treasures using the
directions given.
Activities

Teacher divides the class into four groups (Group A,B,C and D).
Each group will get direction cards.
Group A will read the direction and Group B will follow the direction. Same goes with Group C and D.
Teacher facilitates and guides pupils.
Teacher conducts a treasure hunt game.
Each group will get the new direction cards.
Pupils find the hidden treasure, such as a picture of a girl (Mary), a gown, a clown and a town. They
have to find the treasure by following the directions given.
Once they find the treasure, they need to paste it on the board. The fastest group who completes the
task, will be the winner.
Pupils sing the song again for closure.
