State University of Medicine and Pharmacy
Nicolae Testemitanu (SUMPh) is a
government funded educational institution. It
was founded in 1945 and is located in
Chisinau, the capital of the Republic of
Moldova.

SUMPh is included in the World Directory of Medical
Schools of WHO
SUMPh is accredited by the National Council of
Academic Evaluation and Accreditation of the
Educational Institutions from the Republic of Moldova.
SUMPh is a member of Association of Medical Schools
in Europe.
SUMPh has been assessed by AJA Registrares
Europe and registered against the requirements of ISO
9001:2008 concerning quality assurance in education

With the direct participation of international experts from the U.S., Germany,
France, Belgium, Israel, the UK and the advice of the International Federation for
Medical Education it was developed and approved the Development Strategy
of the State Medical and Pharmaceutical University
