AREA

The project is based on Channel Equalization which is very
important in digital communication.

Its purpose is to reduce inter-symbol interferences.

Through which we get the original transmitted signals.

There are many types of Equalizers: Zobel Network, Lattice
Phase Equalizer, Bridged T Delay Equalizer, etc.

PROBLEM

When the signal (e.g. radio, electrical) is transmitted,
it is in its original form without any noise.

Same is not the case when the signal is received.

As it passes through a medium (e.g. air, wire) it adds
up unwanted signals which ruin the signal.

RELATED RESEARCH

All the equalization can be done by manipulating with the
frequency of the signals.

As the frequency is manipulated with we can block the
frequency at which we detect the noise and let others pass.

The frequency can be manipulated by passing the signal
through high pass, low pass , band pass, high shelving
band and low shelving band.

SOLUTION

The solution to removing noise is or altering the signal
to get the original unfiltered signal.

For this we will use a channel equalizer.

In Equalizers, we will specifically be using a Zobel
Network filter.

ADVANTAGES

Equalization overcomes Inter-Symbol Interferences
(ISI).

They are used in audio devices to control base, treble,
etc.

DISAVANTAGES

By removing or altering the frequency on which there
is noise, we might also eliminate or alter the signal on
the same frequency.

NEW IDEA PROPOSED

Verification of the proposed model for channel
equalization for more number of input continuous
signals like speech signals of approximately same
frequency.
