Now you can able to
connect with BTS
commissioning software
In the "BTS Interface settings"
window select the appropriate
interface.
6. If the RS232 serial interface
is used select the appropriate
COM Port
and Baud rate, as required.
7. If the IP connection is used
select the Ethernet and enter
the IP Address of
the BTS: 192.168.255.249
From the menu bar, select:
Configuration -> BTS Software
Download
The "Software Download"
window opens.
Select the required master
file, the CPF file and the
CODA file using the
folder icon button.
3. Click on [ OK ] to start
the software download.

The "SUM Initial Settings"
window allows you to:
Display the board HW and SW
information
Set the CRC Check
Modify the Clock Reference.
To open the "Initial Settings"
window, select:
Configuration ->
Transmission Settings... ->
SUM Initial Settings

The second Abis interface is
supported only by SUMA
board and in order to
use this interface, the
Environment for Abis 1 must
be declared as Chain
- end position.
To open the "SUM Board
Configuration" window,
select:
Configuration ->
Transmission Settings... ->
SUM Board Configuration

Click on [ Start
Commissioning ] to
activate the
commissioning tasks.

Click on the [ Start ]
button corresponding to
the Edit Q1 Address task.
The "Q1 Address Setting"
window is displayed,

Click on the [ Start ]
button corresponding to
the Edit Remote
Inventory task.
The "Edit Remote
Inventory" window is
displayed,

Click on the [ Start ]
button corresponding to
the change logical site
name


Click on the [ Start ]
button corresponding to
the Edit Sector Mapping
task.
The "Sector Mapping"
window is displayed,

From the "BTS
Commissioning"
window, click on the [
Start ] button
corresponding to the
MC_RRH Sector
Mapping.
From the "BTS
Commissioning"
window, click on [ Start ]
button
corresponding to the
Twin - TRA Settings task.

From the "BTS
Commissioning" window
click on [ Start ] button
corresponding to the
Multicarrier Settings
task.

From the "BTS
Commissioning" window
click on [ Start ] button
corresponding to the
Overbooking Settings
task.

Click on [ Start ] button
corresponding to the Init
All Sectors task
The "Init All Sectors"
window is displayed

Click on [ Start ] button
corresponding to the Init Single
Sector task
The "Init Single Sector" window is
displayed,
Select the available sector to be
initialized and click on [ > ] to
move the
sector in the "Selected Sector"
window.
Click on [ OK ] to initialize the
sector.
When the initialization is finished
the "Init Single Sector" window is
closed.

Click on [ Start ] button
corresponding to the Init Single
TRE task
The "Init Single TRE" window is
displayed,
Select the available TRE to be
initialized and click on [ > ] to
move the
TRE in the "Selected TRE"
window.
3. Click on [ OK ] to initialize
selected TREs.
When the initialization is finished
the "Init Single TRE" window is
closed.

Click on [ Start ] button corresponding to
the VSWR measurement task.
The "VSWR Measurement"
Select the following measurement
parameters:
ANX Dvie: ANX** (** = ANX position)
Frequency Band: available frequency
Port A Frequency
Port B Frequency
Output Power Attenuation: 0 dB
(maximum power)
Measuring Period: 10 seconds.
Urgent Alarm Threshold Value: 3
3. Click on [ Start ] to start VSWR
measurement. The measurement status
is
displayed in the status bar of the "BTS
Commissioning"

Click on [ Start ] button
corresponding to the
Write Inventor task.
The "Write Inventor"
window is displayed,

Click on [ End
Commissioning ].
The "Stop
Commissioning" window
is displayed, as shown in
the following
figure.
