Spiritual Hygiene Part II

Paul & Adele McCafferty

Romans 12:2 (AMP)

2
Do not be conformed to this world (this age),
[fashioned after and adapted to its external,
superficial customs], but be transformed
(changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind
[by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that
you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good
and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the
thing which is good and acceptable and perfect
[in His sight for you].
Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)

23
Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life.
Colossians 3:1-10 (NKJV)
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those
things which are above, where Christ is, sitting
at the right hand of God.
2
Set your mind on
things above, not on things on the earth.
3
For
you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in
God.
4
When Christ who is our life appears,
then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Colossians 3:1-10 (NKJV)

5
Therefore put to death your members which
are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness,
passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which
is idolatry.
6
Because of these things the wrath
of God is coming upon the sons of
disobedience,
7
in which you yourselves once
walked when you lived in them.
Colossians 3:1-10 (NKJV)

8
But now you yourselves are to put off all these:
anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language
out of your mouth.
9
Do not lie to one another,
since you have put off the old man with his
deeds,
10
and have put on the new man who is
renewed in knowledge according to the image of
Him who created him,
Ephesians 5:3 (NKJV)

3
But fornication and all
uncleanness or covetousness, let it
not even be named among you, as
is fitting for saints;
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (AMP)

9
Do you not know that the unrighteous and the
wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the
kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither
the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
nor those who participate in homosexuality,

10
Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy
graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed
revilers and slanderers, nor extortioners and robbers
will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.
Hebrews 13:4 (NKJV)

4
Marriage is honorable among all,
and the bed undefiled; but
fornicators and adulterers God will
judge.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NKJV)

9
Do you not know that the unrighteous will
not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be
deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters,
nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,
[a]
nor
sodomites,
10
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor
drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will
inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (AMP)

8
Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be
vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours,
the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [
[a]
in fierce
hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

9
Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onsetrooted,
established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing
that the same (
[b]
identical) sufferings are appointed to your
brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the
world.
2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)

16
All Scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in
righteousness,
