Overview & Concept
It is essential to understand that the Lo-rad system is simply an addition to
existing radiographic equipment and techniques

The Concept is to collimate the radiation beam towards an area of interest. The
area of interest is then enclosed with the Lo-Rad Mazel mats. This enclosed
system eliminates all unwanted radiation and scatter from the primary beam.

The Lo-Rad system when used in conjunction with a Selenium 75 will reduce
safe working distance If used correctly, the system will allow you a 1-3 meter
barricade and still give you an acceptable reading 7.5 uSv/h

The clear benefit for your client is a decrease in loss of production and down
time. Due to the small barricading areas required, the system allows you to carry
out radiography continuously for a 24 hour period

Se75 has a more softer gamma ray spectrum than Ir192

to be cordoned off, up to 80 meters

With the LO-Rad system & Se75 only 1 to 3 meters is required to
be Demarcated and cordoned off

meters a reading of 7.5 uSv can be expected
