This document provides instructions for a series of exercises to configure networking tools and a Cisco router. The exercises include: using ping and traceroute commands; initial router configuration; configuring the Ethernet interface; setting static routes; configuring passwords; setting up system logging; and configuring DNS on the router. The goal is to familiarize students with basic Cisco router configuration and networking troubleshooting tools.
