If your menstruation comes before you bring down the dark brown bead. this
means your cycle is less than 26 days.
If you have pulled down the last brown bead, and a day has passed, and your
menstruation has not come, your cycle is longer than 32 days. If any of this
happens once, you can continue to use the method. But if it happens twice in a
year, the SDM may not work for you.
