cost Portable oscilloscope that every electronics hobbyist can afford .The portable oscilloscope consists of signal conditioner ,microcontroller and screen The signal conditioner consist of an adder and buffer while the microcontroller consist of lpc176 with corte! m" processor and the screen #$"%&. Materials and methods Principle' The signal to be measured is first given to the signal conditioner. The signal conditioner attenuates the input signal to an appropriate level for the board. The attenuated signal is used as input to the adder circuit. (nother input for adder circuit is &) source to give the appropriate shift to offset the input signal in positive range. *utput of (&) is given to &+( and &+( stores the samples into the memory. These stored samples are then given to display. Acknowledgments ,e would li-e to than- our internal guide Prof &arshana .an-he for her valuable inputs and timely guidance. ,e would li-e to than- our lab/assistants and attendants for the help and co/operation offered by them along every stage of the project. 0astly, we would li-e to than- our #*& Prof. Prasad 1oshi for e!tending his support. Results The result of the .ignal conditioner was observed to be attenuated by a factor of 1213 th with suiable &) shift. The (&) and &+( was simulated and the results were were found to be satisfactory.
4 Conclusions (fter analy5ing the individual circuits a system was designed and implemented for portable oscilloscope. This prototype can be used commercially after some modifications The aim was to achieve a simplified and cost effective portable oscilloscope for electronics hobbyist which has been partly achieved.
