Pre-Engineered Buildings
Certain buildings, requirement of which if frequent, are pre-
engineered. Materials procured accordingly and kept in
inventory to a reasonable extent. Engineer/Architect
responsible for the construction project could utilise this
information, if suited and prepare specification for early
completion of the project.
One specification or a set of Metal building System
Requirements describingthe loading conditios, design practices,
materials and finishes is furnished by the Engineer/Architect
responsible for the construction project. Complete Metal
Building is designed, manufactured and supplied by the
manufacturer.
The materials used in the manufacture are not unusual
and manufacture could start if required by Engineer/Architect
and agreed by the manufacturer, immediately by using
material, available in inventory.

CONCLUSION:
Pre engineering buildings plays a deliberate and active
role in converting normal constructions and expensive
conventional steel buildings into simpler and more
economically designed buildings without sacrificing the
utility and function. Pre engineered buildings are well
suited for the earthquake regions. It is proved in many
countries that ductility of steel is utilised to any extent in
case of pre engineering buildings. Hence it is advisible to
suggest the PEB buildings at well suited places.
