Front 7 Blocking Technique
Far Shoulder Blocks
Hit waist high and buzz your feet Keep Elbows Up
Defeat the DL Cushion Dont let them penetrate or read at the LOS
Cut Blocks (Shoeshine)
Using the far shoulder fire out and engage the DL in his thigh pads Buzz your Feet
Reach Block
Step with playside foot to the next defender playside. Over take the defender with
your feet Work Upfield through the Defenders Outside Number
Flat Pull
Pivot on off foot, throw near elbow and scrape paint down LOS with shoulders square.
Turn up at point of attack Hunt your Landmark
Waggle Pull
Pivot on off foot, throw near elbow and get depth. Out flank the DE - Pin him Inside
Angle Pull
Pivot on off foot, throw near elbow and attack the trap key into the LOS. Dont wait
for the trap key to penetrate Hunt the Trap Key

RB/WR Blocking Technique
Electric Football
Head on the near hip and buzz your feet Keep Elbows Up
J Block
Step with off foot, continue on J Path, scrape paint down
LOS, and kick out last man on LOS. Use Electric Football
Block Head on Upfield Hip
Hook Block
Step with playside foot reaching the defender. Punch
defenders outside number Flip your Hips
Stalk Block
Sprint until within 4 yards of defender, break down and
engage him with hands on numbers. Mirror his Movements
