that the Employee are not stagnant and believe in
individual development of employee.

FedEx devised a hire orientation Kit to help the
managers as well as recruits understand the key
components of the orientation process.

Process(LEAP) to allow Employees to asses their
ability to take up managerial responsibilities.

Job Change Application Tracking System(JCATS)
to give opportunities to Temporary Employees to
become Permanent.

Successive Planning Executive Education (SPEED)

Who interacted directly with customers. In FedEx all
new employee underwent an orientation(HIRE
ORIENTATION PROGRAM KIT) program which
educated them FedEx philosophy and policies of
the company.
FedEx viewed orientation program as a tool for
retaining talented employees.
It gave considerable emphasis on the training of
those employees
The trainees were asked to sit on computers and
listen to live call made by customers.
The trainees have to overcome four test and score
minimum of 85% on these test.

This Program was used to encourage employees to
give feedback on management policies.
Strength : Provides Information about the market
and helps to take appropriate measures over a
period of time.
Weakness : Market information may no be
consistent.

Grievances are addressed.

Weakness: There may arise a conflict scenario
