Data governance is about developing data standards & policies that will be monitored
and enforced by the organization through agreed upon processes & procedures.
The goal of data governance is to institute appropriate guidance catered for the

The methodology for IT Strategic Planning and Requirements Analysis covers an extensive scope of
internal and external analyses, developing the optimal business case and implementation
framework (Identify, Diagnose and Design). It does not cover actual implementation of the
proposed operating model (Deliver, Sustain), but can include Strategy Testing (Validate).
All IT Strategic Planning and Requirements Analysis projects adhere to the overall monitoring level
of Quality and Risk Management (Q&RM), as well as Project Management.
