Network KPI Summary


Network Call setup success rate is ok except GSM network in ABOBO
Area;
Network Call Drop Rate is not so good especial for UMTS network
and GSM Network in Macory & Plateau Area;
For Dual Model, Macory GSM call drop is abnormal;
Suggestion:
Macory BSC & RNC homing to which MGW should be audited;
RF tuning & Neighboring Optimization should be implemented for
UMTS Network, GSM Interference need to be optimized;

1. From the root cause for events, we can see that network Interference is the main
issue for Orange Network;
2. Neighboring & Congestion issue need to be highlighted during daily optimization;

Suggestion & Actions:


1. Its better to implement Frequency Re-planning each quarter;
2. UMTS PSC & Neighboring optimization should be implement during daily work;
3. Parameters optimization can be tuning according to the different Scenario;

1. Call drop due to UMTS weak coverage also
without HO to Other Cells;
2. Before call drop UE already trigger the 2D
event, but no handover to 2G;

2. IRAT Neighbors need to be audited;
3. 2D/2F HO Parameters should be audited;

In order to improve Orange Network Quality, we need support from Orange team, the details as

follow:
Provide Latest Engineering Parameters and Neighbor List for RF Optimization Deeply Analysis;
Support from Wireless part to Loop and troubleshoot For The Silence / Mute calls ;
Provide Wireless & Transmission Network Structure For Deeply Audit;
In Order To Make Audit For Relating Parameters and Timers, We need Orange CI Provide Relating Parameters &
Timers Setting Form Wireless Part;
Co-BCCH Strategy & Inter-HO Parameter Setting Strategy Can Be Discussed Together;
Frequency Re-planning Should Be Considered For The Noise Call Issue;
