existed ther for years. Also, after the partition, people
moved into pols here. Approximately 25 years back, the
talkies were demolished and small shops started opening
up. Marwadi tailors from Rajasthan moved in here and
produced yarn. Gradually, the market started diversifying.
Many Sindhi merchants too settled their businesses here.
The business started spreading and the residential
part(pols) reduced. And now, its one of Indias biggest
wholesale readymade garment market which not only sells
garments all over India but also exports to countries like,
Dubai, Malaysia, UAE.
